How to maintain the ultrasonic drilling monitor and what common faults are there?

The ultrasonic probe is uniformly lowered from the hole mouth under the control of the lifting device. The depth measuring device measures the depth of the probe and transmits it to the host. The host controls the ultrasonic transmitting probe to emit ultrasonic waves according to the set time interval and starts timing synchronously. The host starts the high-speed and high-precision signal collector to collect ultrasonic signals according to the set sampling delay and sampling rate.

Since the acoustic impedance of the mud is much smaller than the acoustic impedance of the soil (or rock) medium, the ultrasonic wave is almost completely reflected from the hole wall. The reflected wave is received by the receiving transducer after propagating through the mud. The time when the reflected wave arrives is the propagation time of the ultrasonic wave in the mud in the hole. The distance between the ultrasonic transducer and the hole wall is calculated by the propagation time, thereby calculating the aperture value and verticality of the section.

Ultrasonic drilling monitor play a important role in inspection of deep pile foundation. Then it become more and more important to know how to maintain the Ultrasonic drilling monitor.

- When using the probe, please check whether it is firmly connected to prevent water leakage and damage to the internal circuit of the probe.

- Do not place the host in direct sunlight for a long time, otherwise it will cause excessive temperature, which may cause battery explosion, host LCD aging and other problems.

- Clean the dust and debris on the surface of the plug frequently to prevent it from reducing the conductivity of the instrument and affecting the normal operation of the instrument.

- Frequently check whether the cable lifting control motor is installed firmly and reliably to prevent the motor from working in an unsecured state and causing damage to the motor.

- After each test, clean the cable and probe. When flushing with water, prevent water from being flushed into the electrical connectors of the winch to prevent short circuits and damage to internal components. Never flush the winch from the bottom of the winch upwards.

After checking,

1)Clean up the site: Ensure the safety of the site and clean up the debris that may affect the maintenance work.

2)Replace the wire rope: According to the model and specifications of the detector, select a suitable new wire rope for replacement. During the replacement process, the following points should be noted:

①Ensure that the quality of the new wire rope meets the requirements and avoid using inferior or severely worn wire ropes.

②Install the wire rope correctly to ensure that it cooperates well with pulleys, drums and other components.

③During the installation process, pay attention to the direction and tension of the wire rope to avoid excessive bending or twisting.

3)Check related parts: After replacing the wire rope, check whether the pulleys, drums, limiters and other related parts are intact to ensure that they can work normally.

1)Open the detector housing and check whether the springs inside the upper and lower limiters are loose or damaged.

2)Check whether the limit switch has good contact and whether there is any debris or dirt that affects the normal operation of the switch.

3)If the spring is found to be loose or damaged, it should be replaced or adjusted in time.

4)Clean the debris and dirt around the limit switch to ensure that the switch can be triggered accurately.

1)Use professional tools to check whether the motor driver is working properly and whether there is any abnormal sound or vibration. If the motor driver is found to have problems, it should be replaced or repaired in time.

2)Check whether the circuit components on the control board are intact and whether there are signs of burning or damage. If any problems are found with the control board, it should be replaced or repaired in time.

3)Check whether the lifting speed of the CNC winch is set reasonably to avoid excessive load due to excessive speed. If the load is found to be too large, the load should be appropriately reduced or the lifting speed should be adjusted.

1)Check hether the on-site voltage fluctuates too much. If the voltage fluctuation is too large, the stability of the power supply system should be checked and appropriate voltage stabilization measures should be taken.

2)Check whether the voltage stabilizer is working properly. If there is any abnormality, the voltage stabilizer should be replaced or repaired.

3)Check whether the air switch is tripped. If so, check the cause and eliminate the fault.

4)Check whether the fuse is blown. If so, replace it with a fuse of the corresponding specification.

1)Whether the wiring is correct

①Confirm that the connection line between the detector and the main control box or other communication equipment is firmly connected and not loose or falling off.

②Check whether the connection line is damaged or aged. If necessary, replace it with a new one.

2)Also check whether sonar board module failure or host failure.

1)Confirm whether the power supply of the detector is connected properly and whether the power cord is damaged or aged.

2)Check whether the power socket is working properly. You can try to use other electrical equipment to test whether the socket has power.
